As our General Counsel, you will:
Review, consolidate, and ensure the integrity of agreements, contracts, and other legal documents, protecting Rentcars’ rights in Brazil and abroad.
Lead and develop the Legal team, aligning strategies with the company’s overall goals.
Act as the main point of contact for national and international law firms, including selecting and evaluating partners.
Advise the business on legal matters, ensuring compliance with Brazilian and international laws and regulations.
Monitor legal trends and assess risks and opportunities in current and potential markets.
Develop and execute strategies to manage legal and tax risks effectively.
Oversee the company’s compliance with data privacy laws, including LGPD and GDPR.
Manage consumer, tax, and labor-related matters, coordinating internal and external legal support.
What we expect from you (experience and hard skills):
Bachelor's degree in Law, with an active certification from the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Proven track record as a Legal Manager in a business environment or at law firms specialized in business and corporate law.
Experience in effectively managing national and international contracts, demonstrating a thorough understanding of contract terms, negotiation, and risk assessment.
Familiarity or experience with e-commerce or internet-based products and services will be highly valued.
Knowledge of LGPD and GDPR compliance.
Availability for on-site work in Curitiba.
Fluent English is essential, with demonstrated experience in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in Spanish will be considered a plus.
