About this role:

Finance Analyst - European Operations

• Provide support to the Finance Director based in Brazil, ensuring seamless financial operations and backing for local businesses.
• Collaborate with the finance team in Brazil, ensuring alignment with global financial strategies.
• Strengthen business partnerships, fostering proactive interactions with local business teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Payment Flow & Relations: Monitor the payment flow, focusing on prepaid online payments and payments from rental car companies. Manage relationships with acquirers, rental car companies’ financial teams and banks.
• Contract Adherence & Billing: Oversee contracts with rental car companies ensuring positioning processes and payments align with contract terms and internal controls. Oversee the billing process.
• Financial Activities Support: Assist the global finance team during monthly and quarterly close activities, such as reconciliations, manual journals, and variance reporting.
• Process Improvement: Enhance process flows and minimize manual tasks. Support the Finance Director in special projects and initiatives.
• Reporting & Queries: Generate periodic management reports. Serve as the go-to point for expense or tax queries for supported regions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Partner with centralized statutory reporting, tax, and treasury teams, ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.

A perfect match would have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Master's Degree in Finance is desirable but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in the car rental marketplace or Brazilian entities is considered a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
• Availability to work in a remote model based in Amsterdam/NL.
