Here’s what this role is all about:

As a Partnerships Analyst, you will help the Marketing team to develop Rentcar’s global presence by establishing and developing relevant partnerships with companies and individuals related to the tourism industry around the world. You will be responsible for investigating specific target markets and prospecting new potential partners, getting in touch with them, negotiating and finally establishing the partnership that will enable our growth as a company in those target markets.

If you are an organized, proactive and results driven business developer, who gets a kick out of establishing relationships with multicultural partners and customers, and loves to beat a challenge (and then celebrate it accordinglyn), this just might be the perfect role for you.

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Identify and prospect new partnership opportunities in international key-markets;
  • Maintain an active new prospects’ pipeline and conduct all negotiations, from first contact to conclusion;
  • Present, in a persuasive manner, Rentcars and its value proposition to potential partners;
  • Analyze basic operational and financial business KPIs in order to assess the potential of new partnerships and the performance of existing ones;
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with new and existing key accounts;
  • Review current partnerships and their performance in search for business expansion and optimization opportunities;
  • Periodically report to the area manager and to other internal stakeholders, the partnerships’ pipeline evolution;
  • Liaise directly with the Customer Satisfaction, Products, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams in order to find solutions to issues related to the implementation of new partnerships and maintenance of the existing ones;

What we expect from you (experience, soft and hard skills):

  • Fluent English;
  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships or similar areas;
  • Graduation in Marketing, Business Administration or similar areas;
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
  • Organized and proactive profile;
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations on a tech product / service to different audiences (Marketing, Tech, CX, etc) and summarize its key selling points;
  • Basic knowledge on the main operational and financial business KPIs and the ability to understand and articulate them in order to make well informed decisions;
  • Experience in using the google suite: mail, docs, sheets and slides.

What can make a difference:

  • Mastery in other languages, such as Spanish, French, German and others;
  • Knowledge on the tourism industry and its main characteristics;
  • Knowledge on digital businesses and its main KPIs;
  • Experience negotiating and managing revenue share based partnerships;
  • Experience operating affiliate programs, such as Awin, Tradetracker and Rakuten;
  • Experience reviewing partnerships contracts and knowledge on its main points;
